Survey Results
1. The first question asked if people enjoyed an opening sequence where someone is killed, many people clicked yes. From this we know to draw an audience in we should include a killing for people to be interested init.2.The second question ask if the audience were ok with watching gore the answers were yes and maybe this means that within our opening sequence we should include some types of gore but not enough for an audience to stop watching.
3.This question asked if people prefer a male of female protagonist of both, the answers were male and both. To include a protagonist of both genders we have decide to use a group of boys and girls finding a killer for our opening sequence.
4.For this question people put that they were ok with jump scares, this means that within our opening sequence we should include some parts which make the audience jump.
5. This question asked what sub theme of horror do you prefer, slasher or supernatural. The answer for this was supernatural so within our opening sequence we will add a supernatural appearance.
6.For this question many people but a knife or gun, which suggests that one of these two weapons should be included within p=our sequence.
7.from this question we found out that many people enjoyed when a horror movie is set in an abandoned place or a graveyard as it creates a spooky effect.
8.This question told us people enjoyed the killer to be masked so we don't know there identity which creates mystery and suspense. From these questions we know what to include in our opening sequence. We have included these in as our opening sequence will be set in a graveyard, the charters will consist of two males and two females with one of them being killed. The killer will remain unidentified throughout with the weapon also being unidentified.
